We are pleased to announce that the Department of Education and Skills have awarded Educate Together the patronage of a new primary school to open in Douglas / Rochestown in 2013.  The exact location of the new school has yet to be decided.

See the following link for more information on the Department's decision: Click here

To discuss this development and where to go from here, there will be a meeting of parents and interested parties at 8pm on Wednesday 2nd May 2012 at Nemo Rangers GAA club (tea, coffee and biscuits provided).

The meeting will be chaired by the parents group for the new school.  Niall Wall, the regional development officer for Educate Together, will inform the meeting with all the latest information.

One of the objectives of the meeting will be to get a list of interested parties to join the parents association, which is short on numbers at the moment.  There is no pressure to participate, but this may be an opportunity to get involved in an exciting project in your local community.

Please note that the enrolment list that was launched last September will be valid when the new school opens in 2013.  If you want to remove your child from this list, please let me know.
